Processing Issues

Upscale Stuck at 0%

Possible Causes:

• Network connectivity issues
• Server processing queue is busy

Solutions:

1. Check your internet connection
2. Refresh the page and try again
3. Wait a few minutes and retry
4. Try a smaller upscale option (2x instead of 8K)

Upscale Failed Error

Possible Causes:

• Source image too large or corrupted
• Temporary server issues
• Image format not supported

Solutions:

1. Your credits are automatically refunded on failure
2. Try downloading and re-uploading the source image
3. Try a different upscale option
4. Wait 5 minutes and try again

Upscale Timeout

8K upscales can take up to 5 minutes. If your upscale times out:

1. Check your browser hasn't gone to sleep
2. Keep the tab active during processing
3. Try during off-peak hours (early morning or late night)
4. Start with 4K instead of 8K

Quality Issues

Upscaled Image Looks Blurry

Causes:

• Source image was low quality
• Source image was already heavily compressed

Solutions:

1. Use higher quality source images
2. Generate images at 2K resolution initially
3. Avoid upscaling screenshots or heavily compressed images

Artifacts or Distortions

Causes:

• Extreme upscaling (small image to 8K)
• Complex patterns in the original

Solutions:

1. Use smaller upscale steps (2x then 4x rather than straight to 8K)
2. Try the 4K target option for problematic images
3. Ensure source image has clean, well-defined features

Colors Look Different

Causes:

• Browser color profile differences
• Display calibration

Solutions:

1. Download and view in a photo editor
2. Compare on the same display
3. Check your monitor's color profile settings

Credit Issues

Credits Deducted But Upscale Failed

Automatic Refund: Credits are automatically refunded if an upscale fails. Check your credit balance:

1. Go to Account > Credits
2. Look for recent credit additions
3. Refunds appear within 1-2 minutes

Wrong Credit Amount Charged

Credit Costs by Option:

• 2x Upscale: 3 credits
• 4x Upscale: 5 credits
• 4K Target: 4 credits
• 8K Target: 8 credits

If charged incorrectly, contact support with:

• Date and time of upscale
• Upscale option selected
• Screenshot of credit history

Upscale Successful But No Credit Deduction

This may indicate a promotional credit or free trial usage. Check your account for active promotions.

Download Issues

Download Not Starting

Solutions:

1. Check browser popup blocker settings
2. Allow downloads from roomenhance.com
3. Click the Download button in the progress modal
4. Try right-click > Save Image As on the preview

File Size Too Large

8K images can be 20-50MB. If having issues:

1. Ensure sufficient storage space
2. Use a stable connection
3. Try downloading during low-traffic times

Wrong File Format

All upscaled images are saved as PNG for maximum quality. To convert:

1. Open in any image editor
2. Export as JPEG if smaller size needed
3. Note: JPEG conversion may reduce quality
