The Power User's Guide to the RoomEnhance Dashboard

Unlock the full potential of RoomEnhance AI with our comprehensive dashboard guide. Master the multi-studio workflow, project management, and advanced account settings.

The Power User's Guide to the RoomEnhance Dashboard

Your Dashboard is more than just a home screen; it is a sophisticated mission control center for your creative vision. Whether you are managing a single room makeover or an entire real estate portfolio, the RoomEnhance Dashboard is designed to streamline your workflow and provide instant access to our powerful suite of AI tools. This guide will take you beyond the basics, showing you how to navigate like a pro and leverage advanced features that most users miss.

The interface is built on a "shallow hierarchy" philosophy. This means that 90% of the platform's power is never more than two clicks away. By understanding the logic of this layout, you can reduce the time you spend navigating and increase the time you spend designing.

1. The Dynamic Sidebar: Your Command Center

The sidebar is your primary navigation tool. It's designed to be intuitive, but it hides several "shortcuts" for power users.

  • Home (New Transformation): This isn't just a link to the homepage. If you have an image currently in the "Studio," clicking Home will prompt you to save your work before starting fresh, acting as a built-in safety net.
  • Gallery (The Portfolio): Your Gallery is where all your successful generations live.
    • Expert Tip: Use the "Bulk Action" checkbox (top right of the Gallery) to download or share multiple designs at once. This is a massive time-saver for real estate agents preparing listing folders.
  • Projects (The Organizer): Projects allow you to group related designs. For example, you can create a project called "123 Main St." and keep all living room, kitchen, and bedroom variations for that specific address in one folder.
  • Credits & Billing: A quick-look badge shows your current balance. Clicking this gives you a detailed usage report, showing exactly which designs consumed which credits—perfect for client bill-backs.

2. The Studio Toolbar: Choosing Your Weapon

Once you upload an image, the Dashboard transforms into the "Studio Mode." The top toolbar allows you to switch between our specialized AI engines.

  • Ideation Studio: Use this for the "Discovery" phase. It uses our most creative models to show you broad possibilities.
  • Compose Mode: Use this for the "Refinement" phase. It's where you add that specific Eames chair or change the wall color from white to navy.
  • Virtual Staging: This is the "Marketing" engine. It's tuned for photorealism and speed, ensuring furniture is placed in a way that appeals to the highest percentage of property buyers.
  • Decluttering: The "Prep" engine. Always run your photo through Decluttering first if the room has messy wires or distracting personal items. It creates a "clean slate" for the other studios to work on.

3. The Activity Feed: Your Design History

At the bottom of the main dashboard is the "Recent Activity" feed. This is a live-updated list of every generation you've made in the last 24 hours.

  • The "Jump Back" Feature: Did your browser crash? Did you forget to save a design? The Activity Feed caches your generations for 24 hours even if you didn't click "Save." Simply click the thumbnail to reload that specific AI state into the Studio.
  • Comparison Links: From the activity feed, you can select any two thumbnails and click "Compare" to open them in a split-screen view. This is the best way to choose between two similar styles.

New Section: Expert Analysis - Desktop vs. Mobile Dashboard Optimization

RoomEnhance is built on a responsive "App-Shell" architecture.

  • On Desktop: The dashboard expands to show detailed metadata and larger thumbnails. It is the best environment for "Compose Mode" where you need pixel-perfect brush precision.
  • On Mobile: The dashboard collapses into a simplified, bottom-tab navigation. It is optimized for the "Upload & Go" workflow.
  • Pro Tip: Use your mobile device to "Capture & Upload" while on-site, then use your desktop later that evening to "Refine & Edit" using the larger screen. Your work stays synced across devices automatically.

New Section: Advanced Search and Filtering Logic

As your design portfolio grows, finding "that one kitchen from six months ago" can be hard. Our dashboard includes a powerful semantic search bar.

  • You can search by Style (e.g., "Bohemian"), Room Type (e.g., "Ensuite"), or even Color (e.g., "Emerald Green").
  • The AI tags your images automatically upon generation, so you don't have to manually label everything. This "Automatic Metadata" is one of the key reasons professional firms choose RoomEnhance.

New Section: Collaborator Roles and Project Sharing

If you are using a Team or Enterprise plan, your dashboard includes a "Team Management" tab.

  • Owner: Full control over billing and team members.
  • Designer: Can create, edit, and delete designs.
  • Viewer: Can view and comment on designs but cannot spend credits. This role-based access allows firms to invite clients directly into a Project folder so they can provide feedback without risking your credit balance.

New Section: Personalizing Your Studio Preferences

Don't like the default "Modern" style? You can change it!

  1. Navigate to Settings > Preferences.
  2. Set your "Default Generation Style."
  3. Set your "Default Resolution." By personalizing these settings, you can save 3-5 seconds on every single generation, which adds up to hours of saved time over a year of professional use.
